Peacefully at the age of 90 years, in her sleep on Friday July 29, 2016 at the Harbour Hill Retirement Home, Goderich. Gladys born in Manchester, England is the beloved wife of the late Norman Ainsworth.
Loving mother of Barbara and her husband Merle, Tom and his wife Diana. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Robin, Sharon and her husband Rod, Terry, Alison and her partner Rick, Michelle and her partner John. Great grandmother to Joshua, Sarah, Jayden, Alexa, Madde, Cassi, Rebecca and Mahikan. Gladys is survived by her sister Amy. Beloved aunt and dear friend to many.
Gladys came to Canada after W.W. 2, married Norman in Toronto, had their family and settled in Port Credit for a long and happy life.
Mrs. Ainsworth is resting at the funeral home of Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd, 128 Lakeshore Rd E ( 1 block west of Hurontario St) Mississauga on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 10 to 11:30 am. Memorial Service in the chapel to follow at 11:30 am.In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gladys to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
