Thompson, Teresa Shirley (Feb.10,1947-Aug. 12, 2016)
Peacefully at the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga, surrounded by her family on Friday August 12, 2016.Teresa was the beloved daughter of Alfred and Margaret Thompson (deceased). Loving sister of Anne Deoni (Joseph deceased), Rosemary Thompson, Barbara Cooney (Gerry deceased), Gerry Thompson (Judith), and Pauline Amirault ( Gary). Predeceased by her brother Greg (Barb). Teresa was the cherished aunt of Paul, Sharon, Mark and Sean Deoni, Jennifer and Julie Thompson, Martin and Justin Cooney, Kathlyn, Matthew, Andrew and Jonathon Thompson and Kyle and Joanna Amirault Teresa loved to celebrate holidays and special events with her family, and particularly looked forward to family gatherings The cards that she sent to mark special occasions will be missed by all Throughout her life Teresa's faith sustained her, especially when facing difficulties. Teresa had an infectious laugh, a love of solitaire and a special place in her heart for children.Friends may call at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home Ltd.,128 Lakeshore Rd E. Mississauga (1 block West of Hwy #10), on Monday August 15, 2016 from 3 to 7 pm. Funeral Mass in St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Rd.N., Mississauga on Tuesday August 16, 2016 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society.
