Condolences

Condolence From: Pamela Kukde
Condolence: I just discovered that Pastor Emery passed away. I knew him when I was attending some of his worship services and bible studies a few years back and enjoyed our stimulating exchanges on bible interpretation He was very knowledgeable about the bible and always eager to discuss any aspect of the bible. I found him to be a genuinely kind, caring and considerate person. I am sure that his loss to the Christian community and especially Kenmuir Baptist Church has been felt.

Condolence From: Linda Hollingdale
Condolence: I have only heard today of Pastor Dave's passing. This has been a shock and he will be sadly missed. I met Pastor Dave at the Little Bit of Britain shop in the Meadowvale Towne Centre. Over time we shared stories of life in Britain, what's going on in the world, etc. but all the while he got Linda (the owner)to put aside trifles and cream filled apple turnovers for him. I always knew when Pastor Dave had been there before me. It became a standard joke with him.....I loved his sense of humour and his compassionate side.

My deepest sympathies go to his family and may they find the memories of such a lovely man very comforting.

God Bless
Linda

Condolence: Susan and family, I'm sorry to hear. I was very comforted to hear David's voice (a gentle boom) from within the chapel doors at Turner and Porter, giving a service for someone as I and family were arranging our own Dad's service. And he came to see us, and he came to Dad's service, which was a joy. Ruth my mom, is a member of (Farmer Memorial) Bloor West Village Baptist Church. David and I would often chat about voice work too. Loved to hear him. Sad to miss him. God bless you and hope you can hear His voice too, in comfort. Amen.

Condolence: I was shocked to learn of David's passing. What a loss! We were classmates in primary school, and often used to play together in Sandy. He was always a larger than life character - a true gent. Sleep easy, my friend!
