During the early hours of Sunday morning May 21, 2017, after a short but difficult journey with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones; John Henry Davidson returned into the loving arms of his dearly missed wife Doris Davidson (Houck). Jack leaves behind two beautiful daughters; Kathy Hughes (Norm Hughes) and Sheila Bartolac (Peter Bartolac). Jack will be remembered as "Papa", and sorely missed by his four grandchildren; Jessica, Stephanie, Bryan, and Scott. Jack will be cherished by his loving sister Connie Barrie (Bob Barrie) and all of his nieces and nephews. Finally reunited after many years apart with his late brothers, Bernie and Cam.

For those who were lucky enough to know him; Jack was a true character. Some would say; one of a kind. With a multitude of people he has met along the way; becoming lifelong friends, drinking buddies, and confidants. Jacks final moments were undoubtedly filled with days gone by with all of the wonderful people who touched his life. At 86 years young, just weeks away from his 87th birthday; Jack will be remembered by the amazing memories, we have treasured - not by the cancer that took him.
