On Friday, May 26th, 2017, John Arthur Lightowler died at Trillium Mississauga Hospital. God wanted to end his suffering and give him peace in Heaven. Arthur (we never called him John) was the son of Harry and Ella Lightowler (both deceased). Born on January 21, 1928 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, he grew up with his two brothers George and Ernie Lightowler (both deceased). Arthur was the love of his wife's Ellen (formally Chippendale) life. Arthur and Ellen had known each other for 74 years. Married for 68 years. Arthur also leaves behind a daughter Joyce Anne and a granddaughter Ashley who loved Arthur so much. Arthur also leaves behind two Great Grandchildren, Christian and Damian Boldt.

Arthur came to Canada with a trade of Tool and Die Maker, Machinest, and Blue Print reading. For 30 years my Dad and my Mother had their own Janitorial Service called Flor-Glo Industrial Services. Their logo was Mickey Mouse. Arthur had a great sense of humour.
