Condolence: I can’t believe it has been a year since Brian left us. I miss him and think of him very fondly. I am sure today has been an especially tough day for the Hare family and Leslie, so wanted to send my positive thoughts, prayers and love to all of you. May we all cherish his memories and live our lives with the compassion, kindness, love and zest he always possessed. He will forever be the guiding light in all our lives because that is what he always did ....bring light to lives. Sending my sincerest condolences to all and warm wishes full of love, strength and courage to continue his legacy!

Condolence: We met Brian only a few years ago at St Stephens On The Hill.  We could tell right away what a kind and wonderful man Brian was. He always made us feel so welcomed and took a genuine interest in our lives as we caught up after service. Brian will be truly missed on Sunday morning at church.  Our deepest condolences to Leslie and to Brian's family.

Condolence: Brian and I were co-workers at Platform Computing for many years. We collaborated over many things, e.g., sales operations, licensing/order fulfilment, dependencies between sales, engineering and product support. Brian was an impressive gentleman with great integrity. Still remembered his igniting and fun introductions of Sales kick-off meetings each year. He was also very friendly and caring. My daughter and I were grateful to Brian for his help with my daughter's university project in which Brian was interviewed on business operations of a mid-sized company such as Platform Computing. Brian will be remembered by many of us who have worked with him. Rest in peace Brian.

Condolence: I first met Brian some years ago through Leslie Bentley. He invited me to have dinner with them at his home, and he made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in. I never forgot that, and it was the first of several more such dinners. He was a lovely man, very easy to get along with ... and quite a good cook! He will be missed dearly. My condolences to his family and his companion of many years, Leslie.

Condolence: Our thoughts go out to Brian's family. The following words could have been written by Brian himself: Don't grieve for me for now I'm free I followed the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found such peace at the close of day. If my leaving you has left a void then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah yes, these things. I too will miss. My life's been full, I savoured much: Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch Perhaps my time seems all to brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift your heart and share with me. God wanted me now, He set me free Be not burdened with times of sorrow You are the sunshine of tomorrow!

Condolence: I have known Brian since 1979...first as a friend through IBM..then as my boss for a couple of years...and for the last 25+ years as a friend. One of the unique things I will always remember was Brian's introspection. Whenever we were together he always shared his views about what was going on in his life...how to be a better parent, how to improve his business...we had discussions for several hours. I did not know his love of music until this year. I do know that his church life was very important to him. Brian was taken from us far too early....I know he had many things he still wanted to accomplish. Rest well my friend. You will be missed by many people.
