Obituary for Mary Shimon-Simonian
December 4, 1925- August 3, 2017

It is with immense sadness that the Benson-Shimon-Simonian family announces the passing of Mary Shimon-Simonian, (nee Yunan) on August 3, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Preceded by her late husband Abraham, Mary was a devoted Armenian, big hearted, generous and kind. She will be deeply missed by her family. Beloved mother of Pauline (Kirk), Paul (Judy) and Peter and cherished grandmother of Corey, Jillian, & Kyle and David, Andrew & Sophia.

Pauline would like to thank the staff of Silverthorn Care Community (formerly Specialty Care Mississauga) for their diligent and loving care of Mary for the last six and one half years. Pauline will always be grateful for the welcome Mary received at St. Vartan Armenian Church and for the additional care provided to Mary by several personal companions.
