Donald Alexander  McKechnie
Donald Alexander McKechnie passed away peacefully in his sleep at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on the morning of Thursday, February 8, 2018. A long-time resident of Port Credit, Don was a retired teacher and former head of the English Department at Clarkson Secondary School, where he wrote 4 musicals. He was a master of the crossword puzzle, a wine connoisseur and a world traveler. Born in Toronto on July 15, 1941 he was the eldest of 7 siblings. He is survived by his children Alex (Delyana) and Rhiannon (Jason) as well as grandchildren Ava, Dalia, Luke, Teya, and Vivian. His quick wit, gentle humour, and kind nature will be forever missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Bladder Cancer Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
