Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Giannelia family during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Kianga was a lovely and very special lady and she will be missed by all of us at Chartwell Regency Retirement Residence. On a personal note, I will miss how Kianga would stop by my office and share her life stories with me. I miss her presence! Thinking of you all. Condolence: What a blessing for my wife and I to have experienced this extraordinary woman, Kianga, as our friend & next door neighbour these past several years. Her passion for life was infectious. Her faith in God will remain an inspiration, and her pride in the hardships she overcame in this life was surpassed only by her pride in her family. Kianga raised everyday dialogue and story telling to an art form, and the sound of her laughter revealed a spirit of eternal youth. We will never forget her stories of travel throughout all 7 continents. Her home was a cozy haven for visitors, and her incredible culinary skills were second to none. Her exquisite taste in the visual arts, coupled with her gifted green thumb, created a living space with the unique atmosphere of a tropical art gallery. Kianga exemplified how, as in nature, the leaf is most beautiful just before it leaves the tree. Her spirit endures, and we are richer for it. Craig & Vivian Slack
