June 16, 1940 (Port Dalhousie, ON) – May 6, 2018 (Port Credit, ON)

It is with much sadness that the family of Judith Ann Boese (Stevenson) announces her sudden passing on May 6, 2018, at the age of 77 years. Judy is survived by her beloved children, Mark (Sandra), Susan (Don) and Jennifer (Jeremy), and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Megan, Ashley, Ryan, Jackson, Lucas, Jett, Danika, Tyler & Tiffany, and her brothers Wally Stevenson (Margie) and Bob (Marsha) along with a vast list of much loved nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Billie & Bill Crowe, her sister Carole and her parents William and Elizabeth Stevenson.

Her passions in life were caring for others, her children and grandchildren, knitting, reading, going for strolls in the neighbourhood and visiting with family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and made everyone feel special. You could count on her to send greeting cards for just about any occasion and she loved to bake and take treats to people’s homes. Judy was a Registered Nurse and graduated from the Mack Training School for Nurses in St. Catharines in 1961. She had a very special way of nurturing and caring for the sick and needy. Judy was a strong and independent lady with a very happy soul and she will be remembered by everyone for her contagious laugh.

Visitation will be held at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home on Friday May 11, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral service with a small reception immediately after, will be conducted on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 1pm at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, on Stavebank Road in Port Credit.
