I have some great childhood memories that I will forever remember of Cheryl; from Cheryl and Alistair picking me up and bringing me to Jack Astors for dinner as a kid, and of course my sister and I being Cheryl's flower girls and finding a lady bug on her white dress during pictures. Condolence: Cheryl really was one of a kind. She had a way of expressing herself that was truly all her own. She was a warm, outgoing and generous person, especially to those she loved most. You always knew where you stood with Cheryl (one way or the other!) but if you found a place in her heart consider yourself truly fortunate. Cheryl was always up for fun and eternally young at heart. And how is it that she didn't seem to age a day in appearance or spirit? More people loved Cheryl than I think she realized and she will be greatly missed. But we can all hold onto the memories that we shared with her and be thankful that she was a special part of our lives.

Condolence: More than a decade after Cheryl left my former firm for greener pastures, she's still among the people I miss the most. Her immense grace, her kindness, her sense of humour, her mischief and her compassion embraced our whole team, every day, brought life to the place, and left an indelible impression, I'm certain, on all of us. It was such a privilege to know her, and I am grateful for the memories. I cannot imagine the loss her friends and family are feeling, but they are in my thoughts. The world seems impoverished today.

Condolence: Most of us inhabit the earth. Cheryl dominated it. She was so epic and memorable, giving off a kind of gravity that drew everyone towards her. (It didn't hurt that she had her mischievous pooch Cleo scampering around, breaking the ice and licking us frantically.) Even though she is gone, it will be impossible for me to forget her, thanks to impossibly vivid memories that will be with me for decades to come. Catching up on the Real Housewives, hanging out in Trinity Bellwoods, laughing ourselves silly with so many other magnificent people whose presence in her orbit are testimony to the quality of her soul.
