Norine Flewwelling (Mitchell)
It is with great sadness that the family of Norine Flewwelling (nee Mitchell) announces that she passed away peacefully on June 22, 2018 following a brief and sudden illness at the Credit Valley Hospital. She would have been 90 years old on New Years Eve 2018. Norine was part of a large close knit family and is survived by her elder sister Jean.
She was an amazing and fiercely independent woman. Loving wife of John and beloved mother of Elizabeth (Doug), Robert (Elaine) and Paul (Joanne). She was also a cherished grandmother to her 5 grandchildren (Christopher, Michael, Liam, Jade and Andrew). She was particularly proud of them and their accomplishments and spoke of them often with love. She recently discovered a late found gift for painting and sketching that brought her great joy proving it is never to late to explore your passion.
Special thank you to the incredible staff in the Emergency Department and Unit 1C at the Credit Valley Hospital. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice if desired.
