Condolences

Condolence From: Joan Giroux
Condolence: I was so very sad to learn of Anne’s passing. We started teaching at Varney the same year. While she was an excellent teacher, Anne’s gentle ways and that comforting Irish lilt set her apart. Her students, including my son, loved her. The Varney staff admired her and loved her as a good friend as well as a colleague. Anne always liked a good laugh and we shared many of them in the staff room. More than anything, Anne was a devoted mother. Her love for her children only grew and she was as proud and adoring of them as they were of her. We watched Anne’s children grow up and become the successes that they are. Dear Jeremy, Alison, Suzanne and Allan and your extended families, I send to you my deepest sympathy. I intend to toast Anne with “a wee dram of Scotch” tonight. All of you take care. Joan

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to Anne's family. Anne and I worked together at Varney School for some 13 years. Her calm, quiet, efficient manner with her first graders was the perfect way to start them on their student and school life. I enjoyed Anne's dry sense of humour and her many contributions to the programs and staff of Varney Public School. Sincerely, Dick Anderson

Condolence: Our friend Anne was a stoic woman of great strength, dignity, and charm. The matriarch of her family. Jeremy,Alison,Suzzane, and Allan...we are so sorry for your loss! We were fortunate enough to share so many of your family times with each of you and your Mom. Memories in Ireland and Sudbury we will treasure for a lifetime. We are and forever will be honored you included us in your extended family. The world seems a little less bright. Her greatest joy and love was in each of her family. Her light continues to shine in each of you. Anne...you have completed your journey and left a great legacy. Rest in peace We love you
